Recently in reading Mary Engelbreit’s sign-off letter as her fab Home Companion closes it’s doors, I misread a quote of hers, (I’m thinking subconsciously applying it to my current life) and have been clinging to it ever since:

It is funny how often time you only see or hear what you want to in certain situations. And I seem to have done it in this situation as well, however – I feel as though mine mix-up was one of optimism.
